The origin of the project “Drenthe from above in water and colour” originates from daydreaming, passion for water and colour and a great appreciation for the Drenthe nature.
Atelier AquarEllen has been around for 10 years and has worked for more than two and a half years to shape the project Drenthe from above in water and colour. This has resulted in 15 Drenthe watercolours viewed through the eyes of artist Ellen Visser-Bergsma. Never before has Drenthe been captured on paper in this way. The perspective from which the landscapes were painted is unique: not from the human point of view, but from above.

All these works can be viewed from 3 November, 9 and 10 November in the Stefanuskerk Prins Bernhardstraat 12 in Beilen

A book has been published in three languages, Dutch, English and German, following this project. The book costs € 25.00 excluding shipping costs.
