Ellen Visser-Bergsma

The NNAG was founded in 2025 to promote watercolor art by creating connections between watercolorists of all levels. The focus is on the Northern Netherlands: Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe, with an open, inclusive national and international orientation.

Their goal is to promote, facilitate and support watercolor artists in the broadest sense of the word to capture the environment together on location in a respectful way.

The starting points are the search for connection, appreciation for nature and landscape, sharing knowledge and inspiration and a personal approach. Together with (nature) organizations, they try to shape these starting points as well as possible in the form of partnership.

Created out of passion and cordially invite every watercolor artist (and beginning watercolor artist) to join to experience watercolor painting together and to lay a solid foundation in the Northern Netherlands.
